Medications are prescribed carefully to you, for a specific reason and duration. Follow up appointments and monitoring are required.
Here are some important point to help you manage you prescriptions:
Pharmacies will often dispense a short supply if patients run out before their scheduled appointment. If this happens, inquire with them if they could provide enough to hold you over.

Prescription renewals without appointments are not covered by OHIP and are $15, but this service should only be used in extenuating circumstances. It is our policy that prescriptions should be renewed in person at a scheduled appointment. It takes time to review your chart, recent tests, bloodwork etc. If you have a previous outstanding charge for this service, you will not be able to access this service again.
